Celebrating Diversity

The strength of Energizer lies much deeper than in our reputation, our brand equities and our products. It lies within our Colleagues who work together each day, using their diverse thoughts, backgrounds, beliefs and ideas to achieve goals that cannot be accomplished alone.

The mission behind the Energizer Diversity Initiative and Diversity Leadership Program is to further the understanding of the diverse cultures, work habits and backgrounds of co-workers.

Diversity Initiative

Our Diversity Initiative provides Colleagues with interactive workshops, including guest speakers and an annual diversity awareness day to help Colleagues explore, share and learn more about topics related to diversity. In addition, an interactive site is available on the Energizer Intranet for Colleagues to learn more and to contribute personal points of view on relevant subjects.

Our Diversity Initiative promotes an environment in which employees are challenged to contribute to their fullest potential. It works to broaden the traditional focus of diversity beyond race and sex to include issues such as disabilities, range of thought, habits, life styles, learning styles, religious beliefs and more.

Diversity Leadership Program

The Diversity Leadership Program is open to all Energizer Colleagues and offers opportunities to educate and celebrate the diversity of different ethnic backgrounds throughout the company. It is by meeting, discussing and sharing with others that people develop into better leaders. The Diversity Leadership Program gives individuals the opportunity to develop personally and professionally in an environment that embraces differences.

The Diversity Leadership Program creates networking and leadership opportunities for Colleagues at all levels and locations of the company. Monthly video- and tele-conference strategy meetings are held to accommodate members' schedules and to nurture inclusive discussion and planning about the organization's efforts.
