This product works wonderful.... I am an avid picture taker and I would not use any other batteries in my camera.... I never have to worry about my battery going dead before my event is complete... I would recommend Energizer Max to anyone who wants to know that they can complete a task they start, without having to stop and recharge. May 15, 2012
Great Battery for all your AA needs! I love Energizer Batteries. I use them for anything that needs a battery. The older Energizer Alkaline Batteries always worked great and lasted and now with the newer Energizer Max batteries they do an even better job and last way beyond what any other brand can. My granddaughter will be turning 4 in July (2012), I bought her a toy for her birthday in July 2009 that is her favorite toy. When she is here (she is here quite often) she play's with it constantly, many times the toy has not been shut off when she leaves, (until Grandma checks the toys because I hear mysterious noises!) and I just now (May 2012) had to change the batteries for the first time. And it really wasn't because the batteries were dead, they still had energy just not enough to make this particular toy work to its full potential. So imagine that! Almost 3 years those batteries kept my granddaughter's favorite toy working! Thank you Energizer for a Great Product! May 14, 2012
This is the best of the best! No matter the need, these batteries have always, always provided us with the best qualities. The price of this product as it compares to its long-lasting performance is uncomparable. We've tried those cheaper brands, and have had luck with them - we put them in our television remote and they lasted for about a month! With Energizer batteries, the same remote control can be used for 6 months before having to replace them. We use Energizer from our remotes, to our flashlights, our camping equipment, and clocks (just to name a few). We have learned when we buy Energizer, we are buying quality, value, and performance. Our number 1 choice will always be Energizer. May 13, 2012
High Quailty Product Always Buy this brand for my heavy duty needs and it always has performed as expected will always continue to buy May 12, 2012
Energizer batteries seem to last longer than any others, just like the bunny! I love energizer batteries. The ones we seem to use the most are the AA battteries. We use them at my house for flashlights, toys, remotes, etc. They last longer than other batteries, and are really a better value than "cheaper" batteries. May 9, 2012
Trusted Bunny! Even though I think Energizer is a little more expensive then other brands, they are the only ones we use. We have two boys, their toys require lots and lots of batteries and we only use the bunny since they are the longest lasting ones from our experience. May 7, 2012
these batteries last longer than most other brands these batteries keep my daughters toys going for months. They are great. May 6, 2012
This product last an extremely long time These batteries never let me down. They are long lasting and reliable when I need them the most. May 5, 2012

  1. When should I use Energizer® MAX® alkaline batteries?
Energizer® MAX® is the perfect alkaline battery when you need power that lasts—and performance you can count on. A flashlight to lead the way. A smoke detector to alert you. Or simply a radio to play your favorite song over and over. But if you’re using high-tech, high-drain electronics, you may want to use Energizer® Lithium Batteries.
  2. What’s the difference between Energizer® e Titanium Technology® and Energizer® MAX® alkaline batteries?
Both Energizer products are standard alkaline-based chemical systems. However, Energizer® Advanced Lithium batteries are formulated differently than ordinary alkaline batteries. They have a proprietary titanium compound and advanced cell construction, allowing improved performance and providing longer-lasting power. Therefore, they are best suited for high-tech devices that consume a lot of power.
  3. How long do Energizer® MAX® alkaline batteries last in the package?
Energizer® MAX® has a shelf life of up to seven years in the package. Of course, they perform better in your clock than in your closet.
  4. Should I store alkaline batteries in the refrigerator?
Storing batteries in refrigerators or freezers is not required or recommended for batteries produced today. In fact, cold temperature storage can harm batteries. To maximize performance and shelf life, store batteries at normal room temperatures with moderate humidity levels.
  5. How long do alkaline batteries last in a device?
There are several factors that impact battery run time. The most critical is the rate at which a device consumes power. A high-drain device like a digital camera will deplete a battery much faster than a low-drain device like a clock. Other factors affecting overall battery performance are environmental conditions, device usage patterns (continuous or intermittent) and battery size/chemistry.
  6. How should I dispose of alkaline batteries?
It’s safe to drop them right in the household trash. In 1989, Energizer became the first company to remove all added mercury from alkaline batteries.
  7. Are alkaline batteries considered hazardous waste?
No. In the United States and many other countries, alkaline batteries are classified as common household waste. Great strides have been made to make alkaline batteries better for the environment and they’ve been manufactured free of added mercury since the mid 1990s. Classification details may vary and should be confirmed in each specific geographical location.
  8. Is it a problem to mix batteries of different chemistries, brands or ages?
Mixing battery types in a device is not recommended and can significantly increase the potential for leakage and reduced performance. The biggest problem is an imbalance in available energy between the installed batteries. So always practice smart battery care and replace used batteries with new, fresh batteries of the same brand—preferably Energizer.
  9. Is it dangerous to carry loose batteries in a purse or pocket?
Batteries can be short-circuited by metal items such as coins, keys, paper clips, etc. A battery that experiences a short circuit can become very hot, increasing the potential for leakage and personal injury. For additional Do’s and Don’ts surrounding proper storage, care and handling of batteries, visit our Learning Center.
  10. What increases the potential for alkaline battery leakage?
Typically, alkaline batteries will not leak under normal storage and usage conditions. However, the potential for leakage is significantly increased if batteries are subjected to charging, mixing of battery chemistries, mixing of fresh and used batteries, physical damage, extended exposure to high temperature or deep discharging. Alkaline battery leakage is extremely caustic and contact with bare skin should be avoided. In the event that battery leakage comes in contact with your skin, flush the area for 15 minutes with copious amounts of water.
  11. Can alkaline batteries be charged in a NiMH or NiCd battery charger?
Standard alkaline batteries are not designed to be recharged and should never be placed in any battery charger. Attempting to charge alkaline batteries will significantly increase the likelihood for leakage to occur. Rechargeable alkaline batteries made by other manufacturers may also leak if placed in a NiMH or NiCd charger and should only be recharged in a charger designed for that system. Of course, Energizer® Recharge® batteries have all the rechargeable power you’ll ever need.
  12. Who invented alkaline batteries?
Energizer scientist Lew Urry hand-built the first commercially viable alkaline battery in 1959. Today, you can check out his prototype cell at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.
  13. Is there a guarantee on Energizer® batteries?
The Energizer®/Eveready® guarantee typically states: “We will repair or replace, at our option, any device damaged by these Energizer® batteries. Guarantee void if batteries are charged by user or device.” Contact 1-800-383-7323. This guarantee may vary globally, so please check with your local Energizer office for details.
