Energizer EZ Turn & Lock Size 13 I purchased 16 Energizer #13 hearing aid batteries at Walmart 2nd April 2013 for the sum of $16.97 Canadian opened the packet the most voltage was 1.3.not enough to work my hearing aids I ADVISE PEOPLE NOT TO BUY THEM April 21, 2013
size 13 not working When place battery in hearing aid seems lightly loose; battery lasts only one to three days and then hearing aid signals battery low; also, sometimes hearing aid power goes off and then may turn back on by itself. Hearing aid was recently checked and confirmed, functioning well. [PS: I like your batteries in flashlights] April 18, 2013
The worst battieries I have ever used! When I bought these batteries they were buy one get one.I thought it was a good deal at first.the first pack I put a new battery in and an hour later it started beeping, that happened twise from the first pack! Now Im on the second pack, last night the battery died so I put a new one in,not even a hour later that one went dead, put another one insame thing happened!I used three batteries within 30 min.Unreal! Both packs are dated 10/20/2013.I live on a very limited income,I cant afford to buy batteries that dont work! April 9, 2013
claim of 29 more hours needs redemption I had previously reviewed this product stating that at most it was lasting 1 week of my normal use of hearing aids. I took an opportunity to put it up against a CVS Pharmacy brand batter, not just any battery, but an UNUSED one that expired in the year 2009!! as per my previous rant, the Energizer battery lasted 7 days before having issues making my battery low tone flicker, I got one additional day, the long expired, 2009!! (this is the year) never used CVS battery lasted 3 more days and never once caused any problem, I really deserve a refund March 28, 2013
Not getting 29 additional hours for sure I have been using the new batteries for my hearing aids and in comparison I think by far the worst experience with batteries in my two years wearing hearing aids. I am getting on average 7 days until the hearing aids go haywire. I get the half hour signal then they work fine for another day. I usually get 10-12 days of use out of other batteries. These have been consistently lasting from Saturday to Saturday. Not sure where the extra 29 hours are, let alone the 72 I am missing provided by previous brands? March 12, 2013
They do not last up to 29 hours longer!! I used to get 10 to 12 days per battery, not counting time off. Now I am lucky to get 7 days. With 2 aids it is now more expensive for me. I use 4 batteries per month instead of 3 which means I spend more money for less time. February 16, 2013
these are the worst batteries I have ever purchased I have used hearing aids all my life, and have used many different kinds of batteries, Last week I bought 2 sets of az13dp-8 from walmart, and each lasted from 1 hour to at the most 1 day, I then needed more so I bought one package of the same ones from a drugstore all dated "10/2014" and these have lasted 1 hour to 2 days. something is wrong January 28, 2013
Excellent Product and Packaging I have always used energizer. They last long and I don't lose any with the excellent locking mechanism. December 11, 2012

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding all of our hearing aid batteries, they are now Mercury free, as far as the number of holes on the bottom, not sure exactly what you mean. When the tab is removed there is a small hole in the center of the "x", other then that there are no other holes on these batteries. If you have additional questions on this product please feel free to contact our consumer affairs office.
