Very poor when compared to Max product We did a head to head comparison for a school project. Alkaline v Lithium, Energizer Ultimate v Energizer Max. To our surprise, the Max outlasted the Ultimate by 12 minutes! November 11, 2012
Only kind I will use! After some trial and error a couple years ago when I got a new digital camera, I discovered these. I will not use any anything else. They last a long time, so I can spend an entire day taking photos and not worry about my batteries. I just recommended them to a co-worker. November 9, 2012
longest lasting batteries we have found We have tried several different types of batteries but we always come back to to energizer lithium for my computer mouse, they last the longest. Over the years we have learned that energizer is the only batteries to buy for longevity and reliability. November 4, 2012
Does not do what it says on the tin Purchased for Bushnell HD Cameras for wildlife and security use. Was told they would operate for up to a year. They actually lasted three months. November 3, 2012
excellent battery My rechargeable batteries died on a balloon ride in Tanzania. I brought these along just in case for my camera. I put them in and I used them for the rest of the 7 days on Safari where my main activity was taking pictures and I didn't need to replace them. They are all I use now when I travel. November 2, 2012
This is the absolute best AA battery on the planet. Make it more easily available and more affordable. I have found this product to deliver on its promise fully and without fail, always. Given its cost it will not replace other chemistries but could find a place in many homes across the world if it is made somewhat more affordable. November 2, 2012
this product did not live up to its claims installed ultimate lithium batteries on 9/12/12. Today 10/20/12 must replace.Very disappointed in this product. Did not last any longer than your ordinary batteries. spent a lot more money to purchase & will NEVER purchase again. October 20, 2012
Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries I found the price for this product to be a bit much... I use them in my wireless mouse. I turn the mouse off when not in use - however, I had to replace them 3 weeks after installing them in the mouse... Also, did not check to see if they could be recharged.. so upon discovering that they are not rechargeable... decided that they are not my choice at this time... will have to find a better type... Exhausted on Digital Camera but OK for

When ultimate lithium AA batteries show out of charge on my Pentax digital SLR camera, they still show as 'good' on my battery tester and work in a flashlight. Why is this?

Answer:
A flat battery has a high internal resistance. It can still work at low current, for a device that doesn't take a lot of whack. It is like having a resistor connected between the device and the battery. A radio can often run on flat batteries - I used to collect them for this purpose. Reason - a radio uses a few milliamps and a digital camera is a television camera, it takes a few amps. So the digital camera would cause a flat battery to drop the voltage down to nothing, the radio wouldn't.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Digital camera is very powerful and can drain a battery down very quick, depending on how many features or options you use. The open circuit voltage of a lithium battery can be very misleading. The condition (remaining capacity) of a lithium type battery cannot be determined with a voltmeter; the 1.5 volt reading does not indicate a good or bad lithium battery. Most battery testers are not much better since they are calibrated for alkaline battery chemistry. The flashlight might be working because the battery might still be strong enough for that device.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Our Ultimate Lithium batteries actually have a 15yr shelf life, and our Advanced Lithium have a 10yr shelf life. If you are using these batteries in a high drain device (which they are designed for) they should last a bit longer then our Alkaline. If you don’t use them and are stored properly, you should get some decent service out of them. Just keep an eye on the use by date.

Answer:
Ultimate Lithium batteries are not rechargeable. Lithium batteries work best in high drain devices like gaming systems, music players and digital cameras. You may be thinking of lithium ion, a rechargeable battery type. Ultimate Lithium and Advanced Lithium batteries should be disposed of properly when they are fully used.

Thank you for your great question! The Ultimate Lithium batteries may work very well in your flashlight. We suggest checking with the manufacturer of the light to see what they suggest to use for batteries as they have probably done extensive testing on the best battery to use in their product. Hope this helps. Any additional questions, let us know here or give us a call at 1.800.383.7323.

Why are these batteries not rechargeable?

I have never heard of lithium ion batteries not being rechargeable, why is this the case? Is it due to the fact there is no protecting circuit in the battery which makes it cheaper to manufacture?

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. In sense you are correct, Lithium ION batteries ARE rechargeable batteries. However, our AA/AAA and 9v Lithium batteries are Lithium IRON, so there is a different chemical make up on the two batteries. I do apologize for the confusion.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding our E2 vs the Ultimate and Advanced, there is no difference. When Energizer came out with the Lithium battery the packaging read E2, this was just a marketing design (e-square). Over time the packaging changed over and it was no longer part of the package.
