Great Long Lasting Product The AA Ultimate Lithium Is Long Lasting / Great For Almost Anything, The 9v Advanced Lithium Works Great In Smoke Detectors And The Rechargeable Work Perfect In The Cordless Home Phone. Best Looking Battery Out There, Nice Shiny Chrome. June 3, 2013
Excellent product I've been using Ultimate Lithium AA batteries for my digital camera for almost a year now. I work in real estate and take plenty of pictures. But I had grown tired of the usual alkaline batteries burning out on me so quickly, since I need to use the flash quite often. So I stumbled upon Ultimate Lithium, and even though its more expensive they last SOOOO much longer. The longer lasting benefit far outweighs the added cost. I had to buy batteries every couple weeks in the past, now its every 4-5 months. Plus, they have a shelf life of 15+ years, so you'll use them eventually and not have to worry about them working. This is a wonderful product, keep it coming! April 25, 2013
Never Have I seen a battery completley fail ? I bought 2 of these at Lowe's and almost returned them because I was charged $16 for pack 8 AA batteries . I was mislead by the display since the real price was hidden by the top of the display but I figured what the heck I will try them! I used them in a driveway alert system that uses 4 in series , well a week later one of the 3 sensors was dead ? pulled the batteries and tested with a multi meter 3 were fine one was open ? no voltage at all will Be returning 1 of the packages packages to Lowes April 23, 2013
bad batteries Tired of buying batteries and they are dead when you get them home April 6, 2013
Love how long they last. I use these in my insulin pump and it lasts for up to 4 months. If I use a regular battery it will last for 2 to 3 weeks. I love how they last. April 2, 2013
Excellent for High Altitude Balloon Launch The local Amateur Radio Club I belong to has launched 3 High Altitude Balloons over the last couple of years each exceeding 90,000 feet. We have always used the AA Ultimate Lithium Batteries as they have constant voltage, even at -60 degrees F. They power the video and still cameras, Automatic Position Packet System with GPS and 2 transmitters. Absolutely flawless performance. Our next flight is at the end of April and you can be sure we will use the Ultimate Lithium AA batteries to power the payload. March 14, 2013
Tested in a Shure Wireless KSM9 My First impression was the weight it weighs nothing, them I tested with a shure Ksm9 for 2 - 3 hours daily. I lost count of how many hours worked !! A musician has a 4 AA battery guitar effect pedal it ran out of battery  and I gave him the energizer U. lithium, two months later he said me he still had them so I asked him how much lasted a normal battery? He responded: two days of show. February 26, 2013
Good battery, bad for portable games My son has a Leapster GS. We used a set of these batteries (costing about $10) and under his use they lasted 3 days. We get 4 days of use from a set of 8 AA batteries costing $2 from IKEA. I would not buy these batteries again for his handheld game, although I might consider them for digital camera use. Exhausted on Digital Camera but OK for

When ultimate lithium AA batteries show out of charge on my Pentax digital SLR camera, they still show as 'good' on my battery tester and work in a flashlight. Why is this?

Answer:
A flat battery has a high internal resistance. It can still work at low current, for a device that doesn't take a lot of whack. It is like having a resistor connected between the device and the battery. A radio can often run on flat batteries - I used to collect them for this purpose. Reason - a radio uses a few milliamps and a digital camera is a television camera, it takes a few amps. So the digital camera would cause a flat battery to drop the voltage down to nothing, the radio wouldn't.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Digital camera is very powerful and can drain a battery down very quick, depending on how many features or options you use. The open circuit voltage of a lithium battery can be very misleading. The condition (remaining capacity) of a lithium type battery cannot be determined with a voltmeter; the 1.5 volt reading does not indicate a good or bad lithium battery. Most battery testers are not much better since they are calibrated for alkaline battery chemistry. The flashlight might be working because the battery might still be strong enough for that device.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Our Ultimate Lithium batteries actually have a 15yr shelf life, and our Advanced Lithium have a 10yr shelf life. If you are using these batteries in a high drain device (which they are designed for) they should last a bit longer then our Alkaline. If you don’t use them and are stored properly, you should get some decent service out of them. Just keep an eye on the use by date.

Answer:
Ultimate Lithium batteries are not rechargeable. Lithium batteries work best in high drain devices like gaming systems, music players and digital cameras. You may be thinking of lithium ion, a rechargeable battery type. Ultimate Lithium and Advanced Lithium batteries should be disposed of properly when they are fully used.

Thank you for your great question! The Ultimate Lithium batteries may work very well in your flashlight. We suggest checking with the manufacturer of the light to see what they suggest to use for batteries as they have probably done extensive testing on the best battery to use in their product. Hope this helps. Any additional questions, let us know here or give us a call at 1.800.383.7323.

Why are these batteries not rechargeable?

I have never heard of lithium ion batteries not being rechargeable, why is this the case? Is it due to the fact there is no protecting circuit in the battery which makes it cheaper to manufacture?

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. In sense you are correct, Lithium ION batteries ARE rechargeable batteries. However, our AA/AAA and 9v Lithium batteries are Lithium IRON, so there is a different chemical make up on the two batteries. I do apologize for the confusion.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding our E2 vs the Ultimate and Advanced, there is no difference. When Energizer came out with the Lithium battery the packaging read E2, this was just a marketing design (e-square). Over time the packaging changed over and it was no longer part of the package.
