Disappointed We purchased two sets of these after my daughter got a Leap Pad for Christmas. They worked well for about a month and now they do not hold their charge at all. April 5, 2013
great lasting power I bought these about 4 months ago for a Nikon speedlite. i can usually go around 2 weeks (after full charge) using my flash around 1/8 - 1/2 power for about 50-60 shots a day with reasonable recycle times. and i can rely on these to power my speedlites even without charging them before a shoot. I will definitely be buying more in the future. would recommend for camera/flash use. March 30, 2013
Not good reviews I had 4 brand new Energizer regular batteries (AA). They only lasted a day (literally!). Thinking that my daughter's leap frog pad might use up a lot commonly, I bought a set of 8 rechargeable batteries and a charger last night. However, after reading all the reviews today, I will definitely go and return these, doesn't seem like Energizer batteries have the quality of product expected of the brand. March 27, 2013
First was great, then...not so much The claim is that they can be charged something like 100 times. I guess they can be *charged* that many times, but the performance degraded so much that now after charging for 12 hours, they last just a few shots in my digital camera. Tried various charges to find same result. I expected much more from Energizer. Looking for some sort of remedy to see if these batteries can be juiced back up somehow. They were not abused, still look new but... March 15, 2013
Disappointing considering all the hype! Performance disappointing considering all the hype.....information about the specifications not clearly labled on the package or not at all.....mAH ratings not listed at all.....hint? March 8, 2013
Xbox Great Batteries, I have used these batteries for my xbox. March 2, 2013
Doesn't hold a charge These batteries are great at first. I am a photographer and used these batteries in my external flash. When I first bought the batteries they worked great. 3 months later, I can charge them the night before a shoot and the next day they seem to only have half the charge when they were literally just sitting over night. This happened with in a few weeks after purchase so maybe I just got a bad pack. I am hesitant to get another pack now. I always have back ups but I need something reliable. I have recently tried another brand which has been great so far. February 28, 2013
Energizer Snail Batteries I bought a package of Rechargeable Batteries with the charger on sale at Walmart about 6 months ago. I expected these batteries to to be an upgrade from the non-name-brand alkaline batteries that I had been using. The previous batteries would last about 4-6 months in my mouse or about an hour of continuous shooting in my small digital camera. I bought the rechargeable batteries to replace the alkaline batteries in both devices. I started using them in my mouse and I was severely disappointed. The batteries only last about 1-3 weeks each, and my mouse didn't even have long enough to turn on the battery low light before it suddenly stops working. I did not feel comfortable even trying them in my digital camera. After this latest experience, I'm not sure that I will be comfortable purchasing Energizer rechargeable batteries in the future. Hi, I personally drain the batteries right out of the package then charge them full with no interuptions. I usually let them cool down before using. Read somewhere it's hard on them to use when Hot/warm after being charged. RH

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. All of our NIMH rechargeable batteries do NOT have memory in them. There is no reason you should have to completely drain these batteries down, it is basically personal preference.

Answer:
I have over 20 2300 ah nmh energizer batteries. When I purchase a new set I always charge the new set ( I have the new and old charger ) on either-or charger, when the charger shuts down the batteries are charged. Remember nmh and ni-cd batteries only have 1.2 volts, regular alkaline batteries have 1.5 volts that have 600 ma, energizers have 2300 ma. They will last a lot longer, like the add say 4 times. The lost of .3 volts will not mean anything.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding this charger and our NIMH batteries, you will have to see what the MAH number is on the battery,(located at the top of battery right below AA example AA=2300mah). Then refer to the instruction manual to see how long that particular mah number will be to charge. Please feel free to contact our consumer affairs office with any additional questions.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Pre-charged AA and AAA NiMH batteries would typically have 60% to 75% of full charge when first used by the customer. This would depend on the age of the product from the time of manufacture and original charge. For full charge performance, the batteries would need to be charged by the customer prior to use. Once fully charged, the Energizer low self-discharge NiMH batteries will maintain approximately 80% of their original capacity after 6 months storage at normal room temperature. At 1 year storage at normal room temperature, the low self-discharge NiMH batteries will maintain approximately 70% to 80% of their original capacity.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. If you are noticing a flashing light on your charger there could be many things. Please see if the following apply.

Charging different MAH numbers in charger
Charging different brands at the same time
Charging NICD batteries vs. NIMH
Old batteries (over two years old)
Dirty contacts (easy clean, take pencil eraser to contacts in charger, top and bottom)

If you still have issues with the flashing light please contact our consumer affairs for further assistance.
