greate batteries! Verry good preformonce used in my speed light for 5 years never a problem also in a shortwave radio never a problem also charges very quickley on 30 min charger June 16, 2013
Reliable Bought Energizer AA8 pack 1.2v cannot find mAh capacity. Also bought Energizer NiMH battery charger which gives estimated charging time based on mAh. How do I find mAh for these batteries? June 11, 2013
Multiple 4 packs same issue I have to submit a 2nd review as my 1st one was apparently too negative. The fact of the matter is, I have upwards of 2 dozen (20-24 total) Energizer rechargeable batters that do not hold a charge, do not stay charged and are not usable for more than about 1 hour, in devices that are not high power things. I have wireless mice and keyboards along with cameras, all have the same issues. I have another brand of rechargeable batteries that do not have this issues. I would not recommend these batteries to anyone. June 10, 2013
Defective? I bought these batteries and charger as a package a few weeks ago. Tried 3 out of the box in an LED disk lamp (not too demanding a load). They worked for a short time and the light then got much dimmer. I thought maybe they did not come fully charged so I charged 3 more and tried so - same problem. Charged the original 3 I tried, said they were fully charged - same problem - last only 30 min perhaps. Even tried different LED light to see if that was the problem - nope- it's the batteries. I see by some of these reviews that I am not the only one having this problem. May 29, 2013
waste of money Total waste of money it says they come pre-charged,which they were not.I also have a charger from another company that will not even charge them at all, really lame. The rechargeables i have from another company that go with my charger are spectacular and have lasted me 3 years and still hold a good charge, thought id try these ,but completely wasted my money! May 15, 2013
great batteries I have been using energizers for years, the first energizers were real good after charging they lasted a long time ( 4 sets of 2500 nmh ) . The new and improved energizers do last a long time after charging at least four months. I use the new sets ( 4 sets of 2300 nmh ) mostly in my RC cars and monster trucks, the servos suck power from these battires but they keep puting out power for hour-long performance, in the transmitter they last for weeks and Won't discharge, Also I use the same batteries in my cameras and they really last, shooting alot of photos. Another great use is in x box controler, last a long long time. Buying energizers batteries saves a lot of money and running RC vehicles regular batteries dont last long. Use the charger, I have two and they work perfect. May 12, 2013
AA rechargable batteries After buy 2 sets, batteries and charger, I have yet to have 1 battery last more than 30 min. The chargers only charge for about 1 1/2 hrs and 3 out of the 4 batteries last less than a min. Waste of money. May 12, 2013
Dependable for a time When I was buying AA batteries for my Speedlite, I was advised to buy the rechargeable ones to save on batteries. I was able to use them for about a year. One charge usually lasts one whole day of shoot. Then suddenly during the Aliwan Festival shoot, the flash started to take much longer to recycle. Good thing I brought disposable spares. Then last night the On indicator button didn't want to change from Red anymore for a long time. Time to buy new ones? May 5, 2013

Answer:
I have over 20 2300 ah nmh energizer batteries. When I purchase a new set I always charge the new set ( I have the new and old charger ) on either-or charger, when the charger shuts down the batteries are charged. Remember nmh and ni-cd batteries only have 1.2 volts, regular alkaline batteries have 1.5 volts that have 600 ma, energizers have 2300 ma. They will last a lot longer, like the add say 4 times. The lost of .3 volts will not mean anything.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding this charger and our NIMH batteries, you will have to see what the MAH number is on the battery,(located at the top of battery right below AA example AA=2300mah). Then refer to the instruction manual to see how long that particular mah number will be to charge. Please feel free to contact our consumer affairs office with any additional questions.

Just got a new set of 2300 mAh recharge power plus batteries. It says they're pre-charged, but I've read on this Q&A forum to charge them before the first use. I'm just looking for clarification.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Pre-charged AA and AAA NiMH batteries would typically have 60% to 75% of full charge when first used by the customer. This would depend on the age of the product from the time of manufacture and original charge. For full charge performance, the batteries would need to be charged by the customer prior to use. Once fully charged, the Energizer low self-discharge NiMH batteries will maintain approximately 80% of their original capacity after 6 months storage at normal room temperature. At 1 year storage at normal room temperature, the low self-discharge NiMH batteries will maintain approximately 70% to 80% of their original capacity.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. All of our NIMH rechargeable batteries do NOT have memory in them. There is no reason you should have to completely drain these batteries down, it is basically personal preference.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. If you are noticing a flashing light on your charger there could be many things. Please see if the following apply.

Charging different MAH numbers in charger
Charging different brands at the same time
Charging NICD batteries vs. NIMH
Old batteries (over two years old)
Dirty contacts (easy clean, take pencil eraser to contacts in charger, top and bottom)

If you still have issues with the flashing light please contact our consumer affairs for further assistance.
