What is the point??? I bought these batteries 2 AA and 4 AAA for two different computer mouse. After a full charge one AA last less than thirty minutes, the other last about 2-3 hours before you can tell the charge is going. The AAA batteries are even worse. When used in a wireless mouse they don't even supply enough power to get proper performance. I understand that these batteries are low out-put but this is ludicrous. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money or time with these batteries. If i would have saved the receipt i would have returned them for a refund. June 8, 2013
Disappointing performance I used to use Sony rechargables. They began to wear out, So I thought I would try the Energizer NiMH rechargables. Their performance began where the Sony batteries ended. I use them in a Nikon D300 camera. They are not good for even 100 photos (8 batteries in a battery grip). This is very disappointing performance. May 5, 2013
not enough Information and letters on package much to small According to my meassurements the letters on the package have a line-width of less than 100 micrometers. I could read the letters with my microscope (4x lense), no kidding). Then i learned that you give the same information in 17 languages but none tells me how strong the battery ist. (I found the information on the battery itself (2300 mA) but couldn t read it before i opened the package). My advice : Much bigger letters, and more specifications!! March 30, 2013
No specs on the package? I was in the store looking to buy some low discharge/pre-charged Energizer AA NiMH batteries and I could not find the battery specifics on the package. I was trying to even look on the side of the battery and could not tell through the clear plastic package. I know most of these type of batteries are rated at a lower mAh than standard NiMH, but to not even have the specs on the package? Not buying it! February 5, 2013
Not enough juice I bought a charger with 4 of these batteries on faith - because all 4 were turned so the mAh rating could not be read and the package did not have that info. They gave out faster than expected which is when I remembered to read the now visible info on the battery. 1300 mAh batteries! Are you kidding me? That is by a good margin the weakest AA batteries i've seen and a waste of my time. They don't even list the mAh rating on this page with the specs! January 24, 2013

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. When it comes to solar lights, 99% of the batteries are NICD batteries. Energizer only has NIMH batteries and they are NOT compatible with the solar lights. Do no charger NICD batteries in a NIMH charger and do NOT use NIMH batteries in solar lights if the lights call for NICD only.

Thank you for taking the time to contact Energizer.

I have been using AA rechargeables in my solar light for about 5 years with no problems. On a long cloudy period, I sometimes switch out the battery so as not to wait on the sun. The sun must be recharging because I usually just leave it alone.

Answer:
2.5V AA NiMH battery doesn't exist, if that Torch requires a single cell. (At least on paper, and I've never heard such battery and Torch?)
If not, you may use two 1.2V NiMH cells in series to get 2.4V.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding our AA NIMH Rechargeable batteries you would need a separate battery charger to charge them up. I would recommend using the AA 1400mah batteries; they will offer you the best lower self discharge rate. I have provided the contact information below for our office in the Middle East to help provide you with additional questions on where to buy.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. If you are noticing a flashing light on your charger there could be many things. Please see if the following apply.

Charging different MAH numbers in charger
Charging different brands at the same time
Charging NICD batteries vs. NIMH
Old batteries (over two years old)
Dirty contacts (easy clean, take pencil eraser to contacts in charger, top and bottom)

If you still have issues with the flashing light please contact our consumer affairs for further assistance.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. When it comes to our NIMH rechargeable batteries, the only date on them would be the manufacture date. As far as when they were pre charged, it is hard to say, it would depend on the manufacture date. These batteries are good up to 2 years from the manufacture date.

1400mAh vs. 2300 mAh

Why purchase these 1400mAh batteries over the 2300mAh rechargeables? They obviously will only last ~60% as long, so what is the advantage? Is it just that they be cycled more (1500X vs. 250X?) before losing performance? If so, what applications are recommended for the 1400mAh vs. 2300mAh rechargeable batteries?
Thanks.

Answer:
Hi Andrew, thank you for this great question, I will be happy to assist you. When it comes to our NIMH batteries the difference between the 1400 and the 2300 (depending on the man date) will be the fact that they will hold their charge for up to one year. The older version of the 2300 did not have this feature included; the new 2300 will have Power Plus on the packaging these are for higher drain devices. The 1400 will be found labeled Universal; these are designed for more moderate drain devices. Please feel free to contact our consumer affairs office if you have any additional questions regarding this.

Thank you for your great question. The Energizer Recharge Universal AA batteries should be 1400 MaH. You would find the MaH rating on any Energizer rechargeable battery towards the positive end of the battery right under the batteries size in a lime green box.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. When it comes to our NIMH rechargeable batteries, it actually has a lot to do with the type of charger your using. Our chargers go any where from 15 minutes to 16 hours, if you are using a different brand of charger, you will want to refer to the owner’s manual for the charging time. If you are using an Energizer charger please look at the instructions and find the charging table provided.
