dissapointed i bought a pack of AAA energizer rechargeable batteries and they were dead straight out of the pack and will not take a charge $11.00 down the drain i thought energizer was a good brand guess i was wrong April 14, 2013
The convenience is obvious. Other batteries lasted for about 2-3 weeks. I found myself replacing pairs of batteries too often. The one downside to the recharger is that there is no indication that a small, almost invisible plastic strip must be removed before first use. Since the "in use" l.e.d. lights momentarily, one is fooled into thinking that the charger is operating as required and that charging is occurring. December 15, 2012
AAA universl(green top,CHFCV2 so far the only batteries- recharble in this charger that i have used. conventional batteries last 1 month under these circumstances but your lasted 2 days! very disapointing. October 11, 2012

Answer:
Thanks for your question. Energizer batteries are sold at many national and regional retailers. Energizer Recharge batteries are available nationally at Target, Walmart, Home Depot and Lowe's. You should be able to purchase packs of AAA at any of these retailers.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. The Power Plus is designed for higher drain devices they have a mah ratting of 2300 for AA and 700 for AAA. The Universal is for moderate drain and has a mah ratting of 1400 for AA and 500 AAA. Once they are full charged they will hold their charger for one year when not being used.

Answer:
Thank you for your great question! The length of time it takes to recharge a battery depends on the mAh of the battery and the charger in which it is being charged in. To answer this question I would need to know what charger you are using because different chargers charge at different currents resulting in different charge times. If you are using an Energizer Charger, you can go to Energizer.com and go to the Technical Info tab at the bottom of the page. There you can look at our chargers and find the one you have and it will give you the full range of charge times for different batteries. Hope this helps. If you have any further questions please feel free to let us know.

Normally the advice is to charge new batteries overnight or for like 12 hours. Have these pre-charged ones been through the first time charge so they just need to be charged full by their customers?

What happens if they are not charged fully the first time by the customer, would it shorten their lives, even though they are precharged?

What does pre-charged mean?

Thank you!
