Product does not work
The charger shows the display for about 3 seconds when first plugged in and then the display goes off and nothing else happens.

Works fine for me
I use AA rechargeable batteries for my gaming controller, I recharge them after a day or two of hard gaming. I bought the value pack that included charger, 8AA and 4AAA batteries. I do not use them in my tv remotes but they are good for devices that you don't use all day everyday, as I stated I'm a hardcore gamer and keep on set in my gaming controller another set on the charger and I love it, I used to change regular batteries every other day, with the rechargeable batteries I don't worry about running out of juice.
Thanks energizer for improving your product, I purchased them before I had bad experience this time around it seems as the batteries are the real deal. I think because of the better charger. I use these batteries for Xbox controller and wireless headphones mainly. I rarely let them drain all the way before recharging. I recommend the charger with the timer it's a smart charger and I keep a pair on the charger ready to go!

Awful
Received this charger as a gift. The only batteries it has ever charged have been the set included with it. It charged them once and then indicated they were worn out. Every other set I have ever attempted to charge has been indicated as dead, and I have been using them all in a different charger without issue before and after this thing said they were worn out. Absolutely refused to charge all sets except one I've ever tried. Useless. I thought I had two chargers when I got this one and was happy at the thought but it didn't work out.

Don't bother
I went out of my way to buy a high-value chagrer and batteries, mostly to use with my PC-Mouse; money was not an object, therfore I picked the most expensive product I could.
The charger seems to kill batteries (I think that is because it constantly degrades them whilst charging and doesn't shut off currrent correctly). I appreciate that a consumer battery can't take an infinite number of charges, but this borederline useless. I have 12 energizer batteries, higher rated (as in 2400mA+), all of which are now dead, and I do not abuse them (I use them in mice and computer peripherals).
This product looks goo, nut, to be honest, you'tr better off with cheap non-rechararge-ables.

I have pluggd in the charger that I purchased today.....there is a flashing green light on the right side...but no time on the left side?!?!

Does not work
