well i though it was good until i tried it
this product only charges aa the aaa does not work at all. the engerizer recharger is not a smart charge at all.

Everything is bad battery
This is a nicely made product, but it doesn't work as advertised. When it is working it charges batteries well, has a nice indicator so say how long it will be and shuts down when it's finished. The main issue is that it deems WAY too many batteries as "defective" This includes Eneloop batteries < 1 month old as well as new energiser rechargeables. At one point it was showing every battery I owned as bad, when they were all charging fine and holding their charge in every other charger/appliance I tried them in.
It's unfortunate that a nicely made and good concept product as this doesn't actually work.

Dollar store batteries last longer!
my husband bought me this because he was tired of me buying "dollar store" batteries... I would much rather pop in a few panasonic or rayovac batteries when i NEEDED to replace them and have them last me a "good" amount of time then have to wait teh 8 hours it take for this to charge the batteries it came with AND these batteries ONLY hold about a 2 hour charge! well my third time putting them on the charger i have 2 bad batteries! ??? i am not happy

Doesn't work
I put 4 new energizer batteries in to be charged after the first use. The charger says 2 are bad. The timer countdown never goes below 2, so I am never sure if the two good batteries are fully charged. I purchased the charger with 4 batteries included and then an additional 4. The charger only recognizes 2 be any good. They do charge in an old charger that I have.

Bad battery for new batteries
I bought the charger with 4 batteries energizer. In the third recharge the battery charger showed bad battery (red x battery) light to all of them. I can not charge them anymore.

rubbish
recharged the batteries once and the charger now informs me the batteries should be thrown away! Not my idea of a rechargeable battery!

Works well for me
Although I see some negative comments about this product, so far the batteries & charger have worked well for me. Originally I purchased the charger with the four batteries included approximately a year ago. Since then I have purchased an additional six batteries and whenever the ones I'm using run low I simply replace them with the charged batteries. I guesstimate that I have saved almost $100 to date. Am so sorry to learn that some people have had problems with the products that seem to work so good for me.

Broke after 2 months.
It worked great at first then half of it stopped charging. I am currently only able to charge 2 batteries at a time. I will be testing the customer service and the "limited lifetime warranty" soon.
