Short Life? Energizer 123 3 volt batteries provided with a Frongate LED flashlight - 4 of them. Great flashlight but batteries don't last very long. Also hard to locate replacements locally. January 8, 2013
Energizer 123 I need these for a flash light that I have and they only last 4-5 days, why dont they make these in rechargeable?? 1 battery is over $8 and my flash light takes 2. looking to get another flash light or switch battery brands. May 8, 2012
Great for our Cameras This battery seems to outlast all the other brands and when you use ylour cameras as much as we do its very important. Definitly recommend. May 3, 2012
awesome product I love these batteries. I have tried other brands, but this is the one that brings my camera to life May 2, 2012
Travel Battery We took it on our trip to Africa and it lasted us all trip! We'd buy it again. May 2, 2012
Long Life Guaranteed I started using only Energizer when I went from 35MM to digital and I have the first Photo 123 I purchased. I still pull out the camera every time I go out, when I have to have one in a pinch it never dies. The camera produces pictures less than one gig and doesn't have a lens that can focus for as many shots I need most of the time, but there's no camera I can count on more than this one. Like I said I started inspections and claims processing with this camera and will always have it with me now as a backup and I'm always amazed the battery is as strong as when I first installed it. Lasting power I use these in my film camera SLR. Very dependable and not to expensive January 3, 2012
best in class I have tried many batteries for my camera, I take alot of pictures. Energizer Lithium is by far the best. They last the longest & give you more pictures than any other brand. December 30, 2011

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding our Photo Lithium batteries, these have 10 year shelf life on them, In order to determine the use by date; you will find the date located at the top of the battery directly below where you see +123. You can also take the copyright date that is located on the back of the packaging and add 10 years to it.

How long should they last in use?

I got a night vision monocular for Christmas that uses these batteries. I have bought 2 packs of them since then. I only used my monocular a max of 10-15 minutes each time and I turn them off each time I lay them down and use my regular binoculars. Since the first pair went dead after 2 uses, i pulled the second pair out of the monocular after use thinking it woukd help, but it didn't. These batteries are very expensive, why do they not last longer? Do you make a battery this size in rechargeable?
