Answer:
Yes, there are several differences between these two types of cells (20mm diameter vs. 24mm, thickness of 32 vs. 50, capacity, etc). These two items are not interchangeable.

Answer:
Unfortunately not. The 2450 is 4mm wider in diameter and slightly thicker. These are not replacement types. Most likely you will need a 2025 battery to replace the old one. Some devices can support different 20mm cells (2016 or 2032) as a replacement for 2025, but this just depends on the device.

Answer:
While retailers often vary from store to store, our records indicate that national retailers such as Walgreen's and Target both carry the Energizer 2450 battery. You should be able to find one at either location, but if not, there are a number of online retailers as well that might be helpful.

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Energizer does not use an “N” on the end of our CR2450 battery number. This is most likely a battery number from a competitor. ANSI and IEC set industry standard dimensions for the CR2450 battery so battery size should not be an issue. We are not aware of any significance to this letter on the end of the CR2450 battery.

Thank you for taking the time to contact Energizer.

CR2450, installed during pcb assembly process. the pcb is then baked at 76-80 degrees C for 40 minutes max. Is the 2450 battery compatible with the baking temperature and time?

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. The suggested temperature range for the CR2450 battery is -40° C to 60° C. Exposing the battery to temperatures near 80° C for 40 minutes could impact the battery seal integrity and would not be recommended.

Thank you for taking the time to contact Energizer.
