Energizer Silver Oxide 357/303 Battery 2.4 5 5 5
Energizer SR 357/303 I just purchased the Energizer 357/303 battery online, and the 3 batteries arrived in a silver colored bulk type blister pack with perforations for each battery "Card" to be torn from the vertical hanging style packaging. The Silver packaging has a 1/4" horizontal black band across the top of each individual battery "Card" container with the Text "0%Hg" and "Energizer" written in Silver. The rest of the text on the front of the packaging is 357/303 MULTI-DRAIN 1.55V, Silver Oxide, Replaces all EPX76, SR44SW, SR44W written in black ink on a silver background. These appear new and work in my volt meter, but I'm curious how old they really are??? The copywrite date on the back is 2011, and the bar code is 39800-11100-5 and little letters BZR on the back of the packaging. Any help with the age of these and how long of a shelf life they have would be helpful to know as I purchased more of these than I need today, but may need to replace them in a year or two. Thanks, Tenderfoot April 22, 2013
Dead from retailers Walgreens and Ace Hardware are making this battery look bad. At both retailers, which are in my neighborhood, I have taken the dead ones back once to replace and the scecond time for a refund. The 357's are always dead right out of the package that has a reliability date of 03-2017......today is 04-16-2013. I use them in an "Ideal Link Master" for testing Cat 5 cabling it uses 4 of the little "Rabbits" 357's. I need a reliable retailer for these as Radio Shack, Best Buy, Walmart ( in my area ) ( 92054 and 92058 ) do not cary them. April 17, 2013
this product has fast response time but short life I used this product in my cat's Loc8tor collar It has a fast response time but lasts only a total of about 2 hours. I have since switched to Duracell with is the same price, has a fast response time and lasts about 12 hours December 17, 2011
trusted product i only use Energizer batteries in my watches. i tried another brand and found that they either died before there time or ran slow. For a trusted brand i only pick energizer. September 12, 2012
rust on hearing aid battry it seems the mercury free 675 hearing aid battery if exposed to a small amount of moisture will rust and get stuck in the aidand turns it off but when checked is full power some sanding to remove the rust and now it works.so we will not purchase this item again, and will advise all that sweat a littel not to use these , not a problem with Duracell, thought that they were stainless steel but not they also do not seem to test them for rusting,Must be made inChina and no quality control farm it out and do not look back?? this is the second time for me. hogi wclassen @telusplanet.net if you want to ask, contact us dose not work for mail here.should send them one that is rusted from use to prove my point but they will not care but send cupon to buy more rust. Answer:
On most of the latest packaging for Specialty Batteries, you can find the code date somewhere on the front of the package. Typically, you'll find the month and year of the expiration date in the bottom left corner. The first number refers to the month and the second is the year. For example, 03-2018 means that it will be considered expired in March of 2018. Some of our older packaging did not contain a Use By date, and it was imprinted on the battery itself. In those instances, it's not as obvious so you'd have to let us know what is imprinted for us to provide that date.

Thanks for your question. There are two replacements for your AG13 battery. You can either go with the 357 of the A76. Here's a cross reference guide to help you with this and other battery sizes.

Answer:
That's correct. The A76 can be used as a replacement for either the LR44 or the SR44. In addition, Energizer also manufacturers and sells the 357-303 battery, which is also a replacement for the LR44/SR44/A76.

Answer:
A stamped code of UA means that it was manufactured in May 2011. There is a 5 year shelf life on the 357 batteries which means that these batteries expire in May 2016.

I have Energizer 379 watch battery (1.55V). There is no expiration date on the package, only small code SU on the back, which I was told was the date code that only Energizer knows how to translate to real date. Can you help me with that? Thanks!

Answer:
It sounds like you have an older battery (and older battery package). Our new packaging has the Best If Used By date stamped on the front of the package. With that said, the SU refers to a manufacturing date of October 2007. With a 3 year shelf life on the 379, this battery expired in October 2010.

Energizer LR44/A76 vs Varta V357

Are LR44/A76 and Varta V357 compatible? I am not sure the size is exactly the same... (Varta seems to have a 11,25 min & 11,6 max diameter, while Energizer seems to have a 11,6 diameter). I don't know if they both fit in the table watch I am going to replace the battery of... Thanx in advance

Answer:
While the Energizer A76 is a replacement option for the V357, the capacity is slightly different. The ideal replacement would be the Energizer 357/303 cell. Otherwise, you should be okay using the A76 in most devices, including watches.

I have an older piece of electronic equipment that is spec'd for two Eveready 303BPs (Silver Oxide). The Eveready 303s in the unit were drained and I replaced them with new Energizer 303s; however, the unit still doesn't function. Before I go into it, is the Energizer 303 or Energizer 357/303 an exact replacement?
Thanks,

Answer:
The 303 battery is meant more for Low Drain devices, but with that said, the Energizer 357/303 is a multidrain battery and will work in both High and Low Drain devices. You may want to try a couple new batteries one more time in case the batteries were not good, but it sounds like it may be an issue with the electronic equipment.
