We apologize that you’re having difficulty tracking this type down. While not a common type, we do show in our records that Walgreens carries this type. While distribution can sometimes vary from one store or geography to the next, Walgreens should be a good source for this product.

Expiration date and storage temperature

I have purchased some Energizer 386/301 button cells with a code of SZA on the back of the package. What is the expiration date?
Also, in the product specifications, it shows a life of 8 to 10 years at 0 degrees Celsius so should I place them in the freezer for storage to maximize their life?

Answer:
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding this battery the manufacture date is Nov of 2011 and has a 5yr shelf life, the use by date will be 2016. As far as the temperature goes on this battery, we do NOT recommend storing them in the freezer, 40 degrees C is what we recommend. I have provided the PDF spec sheet for you below for additional information.
