2011 – The Energizer Bunny™ kicks off Energizer Night Race for a Brighter World

Trading his flip-flops for running shoes, the Energizer Bunny™ sprinted to the start of the first US Energizer Night Race, joining runners across 30 countries as they raced at night by the light of an Energizer® headlight to raise awareness of the need for safe, clean, solar light for families without electricity around the world.

The Energizer Bunny™ will always inspire perseverance, but he’s grown to represent much more. To launch it in the US, the Energizer Bunny lent a paw to help power and preserve America’s national parks.

What did he do today? Keep Going®. What did he eat for lunch? Carrots. After the Energizer Bunny™ joined Facebook and Twitter, fans everywhere could now follow his adventures.

2009 – The Energizer Bunny™ celebrates 20 years

He kicked off his 20th birthday celebration at the 82nd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® in true Energizer Bunny™ fashion when he escaped the parade route to “keep going and going …” and was later seen having a “hare”-raising good time!

2008 – The Energizer Bunny™ has a close encounter

The Keep Going® spirit of the Energizer Bunny™ reached extraterrestrial levels when he helped power an alien spacecraft in one of his favorite television commercials.

2006Keep Going Hall of Fame inducts superstar Cal Ripken, Jr.

The Energizer Keep Going Hall of Fame was founded to celebrate people with the same unstoppable qualities as the Energizer Bunny™. Cal Ripken, Jr., baseball’s all-time “Iron Man” who played in a record 2,632 games, was the first honorary member. He was joined by a succession of equally amazing people who overcame odds and demonstrated a never-quit spirit, earning votes from the public to award them the title of Energizer Keep Going Hall of Famers.

1999 – The Energizer Bunny™ is named a Top Brand Icon

Everyone agrees he is special, but it became official when Advertising Age® * named the Energizer Bunny™ to its list of the top 10 brand icons of the 20th century, citing him as “the ultimate symbol of longevity, perseverance and determination.”

1997 – The Energizer Bunny™ shines a light on innovation

Those sunglasses aren’t just for looks! The Energizer Bunny™ needed his shades when he helped launch the first line of Energizer® LED lights. The LED technology uses less energy and—much like the spirit of the Energizer Bunny™ — is nearly indestructible.

1994 – The Energizer Bunny™ faces the dark side

1994 – The Energizer Bunny™ Hot “Hare” Balloon takes flight

He was taller than the Statue of Liberty, had size 98 EEEEE feet and was held together with 84 miles of thread … and no, we’re not full of hot air! The Energizer Bunny™ Hot “Hare” Balloon went on to paint the skies pink for nearly two decades.
