This light has great brightness travels well and is still on its first set of batteries. This Caplight is by far the best and brightest I have ever owned. It is much brighter and as durable as lights I have purchased for more than four times it's cost. Bravo Energizer! December 19, 2011
I use this product daily I would recommend this product to anyone that needs some extra lighting, while keeping their hands free. I use this product on a daily basis. It has a red beam light that I never use, and also has 2 settings for the bright LED lights. I usually only use the low light setting because it provides enough brightness to read a piece of paper or what I refer to as an inventory sheet. Between using it at work and on my boat I get plenty of use out of it. I have owned/used this product for 2 1/2 years with no problems. The battery life is good considering I use it at least 2 hours a day.I only use energizer batteries in this product. The hat clip on the light is very strong. I've never had it fall off and I do a lot of leaning over. December 17, 2011

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. The Red light is for night vision, it prevents your pupils from dilating, making it easier to see at night.

Thanks for asking this question. These are the same cap light. Our Trailfinder line is available for sale in different retailers than our other outdoor lights.

How do you change modes from red/low/high

I had one of these in my hand at the store. No usage instructions on it at all. I didn't want to buy it until I knew how you switched it between modes...

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding this product, there is a red switch located at the top of this light. When you press it down the first time you will get the Red Night Vision, pressing it again will bring it to the Low Mode; pressing again will bring it to High Mode. Pressing one more time will shut it off.
