Energizer Trailfinder 360 LED Cap Light
Cap clip & On/Off buttons
Purchased this product on Sunday 5-20-12. Right off, I had a difficult time getting the clip onto my cap, which I didn't like because I use my cap lights every nite & take it off during daylight hours. One of the other reviews said that the buttons are hard to push, I found this to be true after I had purchased this light. My cap light is very important to me because I use it at work & enables me to be hands free. I will stick to my other 3 LED energizer light.

Buttons very hard to push
Both of the buttons on the flashlight are very hard to push. But other than that, it puts out a lot of light and is very compact.

Intelligen One Battery Design, Highly Functional Mount. LED Efficiancy, Durability and Long Life. Simple, but a Piece of Art.
Smart design. Easily adjustable to your needs. VERY nice clip and adjustment system. One matter often overlooked in "cap" and "hat" LED lights is the size and number of batteries required. This light only requires 1-AA battery. Most LED "hat" lights require 3 AAA, or 1 or 2 button-cell batteries. Using only one AA battery makes it very easy to keep batteries for, as the AA is the most practical and popular size battery available today. Example: GPS (2AA's); GMRS/FRS radio (2 or 3 AA's), AM/FM receiver (2 to 4 AA's). The circuitry in the 360 degree light that allows it to operate on only 1-AA battery is a BIG plus in the field. Battery is also VERY easy to change. Could be done in the dark, unlike multiple AAA's and especially button cells. LED Technology means no more bulbs to replace when dropped. Overall an awesome light for general outdoor tasks and adventures.

I work outside at night and needed a light and found this which I could attach to a ball cap and uses only 1 "AA" battery, so I tried it and found it works great! I have a number of NiMH AA rechargeable batteries that I use for a camera, and found they worked great with this light, with just slightly less run times than with the advertised run times with regular AA cells. I've found so many uses for this. Get this light, you won't be sorry!

Tested in the oilfield and has held up!
I recently purchased one and took it to the oilfield. Other cap lights just won't fit on the brim of a narrow hardhat. I have dropped it, gotten it wet, covered in grease and it still works great! The 2 best things that I can say about it, is that the small but strong clip design holds onto the smallest of brims and the swivel feature allows you to direct the light in any desired direction. I have already been asked to bring a dozen from the states to use here offshore in the North Sea.
