How to put in batteries

I have tried every combination of stacking the batteries and the flashlight doesn't light!

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. I apologize that you are having an issue with the installation of the batteries. When placing the 2 AA batteries in this light you want to place them both positive side up, so place the first battery with the negative side (flat side) going in first, then repeat the same step with the second battery. Where do batteries go in E220 model

There is no instructions on the packaging that tells the purchaser how and where to insert the batteries!!!

Have spent more than 1 hour on the internet trying to find out.........

Quick response would indeed be appreciated.

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Regarding this light, you want to twist off the top part of the light (lens area), once you have the cap off you place two AA batteries inside. Both batteries go in with the positive side facing you.
