great for evening walks
I bought this for walking at night but it shut off after about an hour. I bought one for my friend and hers didn't shut off so I bought myself another one thinking mine was defective. On the package I noticed that it said auto switch off but no mention of how long it stays on. It's great for walking at night so cars driving by can see us. I love it but I wish there was more info on the auto shut off feature.

This product is great for deer hunting
I have been using the light for deer hunting. It is ideal for marking the last blood found on blood trails, marking down game or finding your stand at night. They are highly visible through the woods at great distances. I had been using the chemical glow sticks, but one use is all you get from a stick. This light will get you through the whole deer season. I think I will buy my buddies some for Christmas so they can use them next season.

Nice for kids
Wish it would stay on longer say 5-30minutes for longer outside in the dark fun and or safety.

Great for adults & children
Bought 3 of these for my kids. I found them on clearance at a great price. One need the batteries changed soon after I got them. I called Energizer to see how to do it without breaking it. It was super simple! Mine is NOT the auto-off - so you just get the glow stick end off & gently pull the bulb out - the whole thing pulls out & there are the batteries. Super simple to replace. Thanks Energizer! We can't wait to use them at the beach!

works fine - keep one on my motorcycle
I keep it on my motorcycle for night-time emergencies. The package says "Auto Switch Off" ... but doesn't say how long before that will happen, I also wonder about water resistance?

Kids love it!
Santa brought one to my son two years ago, and it got lost. He insisted that Santa bring him and his sister one last Christmas to replace it! I was lucky to find some (obviously) older stock at our local store. I say it was older because his first had nice fresh batteries, but these two new ones ran out fast. I found this website as I was searching for what type of batteries it took, but instead just pulled them from one of the flaslights. Unlike a prior review, I had no trouble removing the batteries. I don't anticipate much trouble installing them before we head to the drive in with them tonight! The kids love these, and the cousins fight over them. Definitely a fun purchase!

great gift idea
this is a novel small flashlight...great for stocking stuffers, small gifts....also very handy to keep in my purse....i also keep one in my truck....very useful!

Great idea- poor execution
Would have been helpful if instructions how to install batteries.
Does not come functioning.
Buy 2. One you will destroy figuring out.
The second will be able to function.
Otherwise do not waste your money
