Batteries Again.
I got my Energizer HardCase Work light probably three four years ago. It came with the batteries pre-installed so battery replacement was not an issue. To the credit of Energizer the batteries finally gave up the ghost. I tried every which way but loose to get that thing apart to replace the batteries. I ruined the rubber up by the lens because it is so old. I usually can figure these mechanical things out. I was stumped. I figured Energizer would have the answer. I am as frustrated as the other comment givers that information was not provided. As in the Q&A section. The instructions are in the inside. Huh!! Other than the battery issue it is a great product.

A disappointment
I purchased this light from the Home Depot & was looking forward to using it at home for a small project. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out where to put the batteries in & there was no instructions on the packaging. 3 people looked at the thing, & there wasn't even a indication on the light itself!
At the Home Depot the clerk didn't know how to Open the thing!
Needless to say I went to the internet & found out how to. Initially I took out a few screws with no success. I didn't want to force anything by twisting & pulling b/c everything breaks so easy these days.
Just a real disappointment that the company couldn't just put an arrow on the bottom with a battery symbol to indicate twist! : (

Tough and durable
This product is well designed and built, along with features that I found very useful during work projects - comfortable and positive grip, bright lightbeam, belt clip and most of all able to cope with the inevitable bumps and knocks with rubberised components and toughened details.
Worth the investment

Simple made complicated
Purchased this flashlight today and I can't figure out how to install the batteries. I'm frustrated because what should be a very simple task is made needlessly complicated because Energizer didn’t bother to include an illustration on the packaging.
