excellent product, have 4 of them
I use these all the time at work. They are dependable, bright, light weight, comfortable, can attach a strap to the top and hang it. I've even had it hosed down in water and have no problems with any of them.

Getting Started!!
Mine came with batteries installed. Instruction was to remove 'end cap' Could find no cap. Plugged charger into what I thought was appropriate place - not charged after 15hrs. After getting online I see there are a lot of issues with this. No instructions or display showing what is 'end cap'. Also batteries were still covered with plastic on top so had to remove.

Great Spotlight
This unit is great! Incredible light, and really rugged. Have dropped it a bunch of times, and never any damage. Unlike other reviewers, I had no trouble understanding where to put the batteries. Very simple and straightforward. I highly recommend this unit and have sold many through our store.

How do you put the batteries in????
I am very sorry, but in good conscience, I can not recommend a product that gives no indication of how to put in the batteries. I am no Rocket Scientist, and it appears I am not alone, but this is the first time I have purchased a product that did not have battery installation instructions. It is also the first time I have handled, played with, removed screws, etc. for over 30 minutes and still haven't been to figure it out. If you purchase this product all I can say is "Good Luck".

The only downside is no instructions to put in batteries.
We had to call your 1-800 # which told us to go on line to get instructions to put in the batteries. Why would you not install batteries at the factory or have written instructions included in package. When I looked at other reviews they all say the same thing! The only reason that I would not recommend this item is that there are no instructions for installation of batteries included in packaging.

No directions how to get it open.
Where are the directions to put the batteries in? Tried everything, including the actual answer, which is to unscrew the back. Had to use a jar opener. Because it was on so tight, it wasn't obvious how to open it, I had to come to this site to figure it out. Energizer - How hard would it have been to give directions on the box how to open the stupid thing?

Might be good if I could figure out how to get the batteries in
Why oh why are the instructions for putting in the batteries NOT printed on the package? If I ever get them in so I can try it out, I will rewrite my review accordingly! Unfortunately, the current hurricane Sandy power outage concerns might be resolved by the time I get to use this flashlight!

no battery installation info or replacement bulb info
Not one word on battery installation anywhere. Hard to rate without them.Worked fine when I finally figured it out. Also,no info on bulb replacement, type, availability, installation instructions, etc.
