overall best headlamp ive ever used Ive used this light in -40 degrees. out in the rain and snow dropped countless times in snow, mud, and steel flooring. oil and grease have dripped on it. Its Flood is also really wide and still bright This light is perfect, has never failed and is still bright. highly highly recommend. October 7, 2012

Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. Unfortunately this 7 LED headlight is not an intrinsically safe headlight. We do offer one that is intrinsically safe, it is the MSHD31E 3 LED headlight, and I have provided the PDF spec sheet for you below.
