Does't work after just a year
I bought this for my Dad last Christmas and he loved it (he's hard to please) b/c of how convenient and light it is. However, a year later, the battery is dead, which is understandable, but I put a new one in and it doesn't work. Also, it seems the battery is not tight in there (another review says the same thing) and I had to use pliers open the battery casing the first time. Very disappointed it doesn't work - especially after struggling to open and replace the battery.

Excellent hands free 1AA Headlight
This is a great 1AA headlight. I had this product away in storage for over 3 years and just began using it. Works just as efficiently as the first day I bought it. The fact that it uses just 1 AA battery is very helpful, because it is easy to find replacements. The AA batteries generally last longer than the AAA batteries and are equally as bright. I would recommend this product to a friend. Simple dedicated buttons for night vision and spotlight are critical. You don't have to cycle through different modes to get the light you want.

Great buy
It's lightweight. Bright when you need it to be & dim when you don't need it to be so bright. I love the red LED option & the ability to pivot the lamp up & down to focus the light where I need it. The only downside is that the beam isn't good for long ranges. Also good is that it only runs on 1 AA battery & you can carry several spares without a huge weight or space penalty.

Very bright, comfortable and light headtorch
Love this headtorch!
However not all batteries suitable, some batteries with and padding on plus side tip are will not contact.
Cables are weak parts
