Energizer Rugged LED Headlight
If only the led was reliable.
This is by far the best design headlamp for a work environment, robust battery case, headlamp angle adjustment that's very solid, my headlamp although used daily at work , was never abused and also never used in the high output setting. Over the course of 3 to 4 weeks after purchase the led module dimmed until the output had a light greenish tint, greatly reducing light output, this also happened to several co workers who had bought this headlamp after I recommended it to them since the first one I bought lasted for over 2 years of daily use until it stopped working. I really do like this light , it's just that there latest hard case headlamps can't be trusted seeing that a lot of other reviewers along with me and my coworkers are having the same issue.

Avoid this product.
My first Energizer headlight was Energizer Trail Finder 7 LED Head Light (2011 November). i was so happy with my purchase and also the quality. the memory form padding pealed off, so i replaced the padding with something else. So when i came across the above product i purchased it for my brother,(this product too was purchased during the same month) unfortunately, the 1 white CREE LED has burned out partially (in the center of the LED), which has diminished the light out put by 80%. on top of it the usage was minimal, not even 20 hours.

Less than 30 hours of using the Hard Case Pro the main LED does not have any intensity. The high setting maybe produces 10 lumens and the low setting maybe produces 2 lumens. I have not misuse the headlamp and I have replaced the new batteries with newer batteries--no improvement. I did contact Energizer via their website email roughly seven days ago and have not received any reply. A true disappointment.

Great headlight with plenty of runtime
I picked one of these up before a camping trip in Canada. I really like the split design, where the battery pack rides on the back of the head, and keeps the light portion at a lower weight.
The amount of light this can put out is very good, and I particularly like that the white LED can be run at lower power. The diffuser snaps into place securely, and stores under the LEDs, so it can't get lost. It really helps for lighting up nearby areas, and not blinding others.
The red and green LEDs aren't as bright, but that helps preserve nightvision, and allows movement without spooking wildlife as easily. The light shrugs off rain, though it's not rated as waterproof, so I wouldn't take it underwater. All in all, an excellent buy if you aren't concerned about a few more ounces of battery.

Very Good Rugged Worklight
I have tried many different types of headlight over the years for working, and hunting. This headlamp is undoubtably the best I have come across as far as combining, strength and wearer comfort with light output.
