BEST HEADLIGHT OUT THERE PERIOD
I've had mine for over two years. Bought it on a whim and was extremely satisfied. Best flash light I own. Best flashlight I've ever seen or even heard of. I've looked and looked and looked for a better all around flashlight than this and thus far, it can't be beat. I have handheld lights that are much brighter but they are either much larger and heavier, much more expensive, have bad battery life, or any combination of the above. I've used this thing over and over on countless occasions and I think probably the only way to get a better head light would be to spend a ton of money on a miners helmet light with a waist belt battery pack. I'm not usually one to even write reviews but I love this flashlight.

Really exceeded my expectations
I purchased it for night fishing and intended to leave it in the boat. However, I liked it so much, I always keep it handy.

Unbelievable - top quality
Have owned and given several of these. I don't think there is a better light source for fishing, camping or working at night than this unit.

Great Quality Product
Just had to order one of these because I like a hands free light at work. Before I ordered, I did look over reviews. When it arrived, right out of the package, you could see & feel the top quality of this hands free light. As of this review, I received this on friday 5-25-12, so I have not used it at work yet, but it is headed that way. I will update later with a review as to the performance & durability of this light.

Good but concerned
I purchased the Energizer Trailfinder 1 Watt LED Headlight (00390004034) on Mach 10, 2012 from Walmart. I am impressed with the 50 lumens spot light. It does reach out about 100 feet to light up a three-foot diameter area. However, I am concerned that passersby may look into the spot too long and possibly suffer eye damage. I wonder if Energizer has conducted safety tests to insure that the spot does not cause eye damage –in particular retina damage. I believe that Energizer should improve the design to prevent the onlooker from directly seeing the small LED in the spotlight.

I have two of these and have been using them for extreme all night hikes for a couple of years now. Very durable in all types of weather.

Dependable safety for wheelchair use outdoors at night.
This headlamp has opened up a whole new and safe way for people who use power wheelchairs to travel after sunset. Even a simple bus trip can be dangerous at dark, but now with this LED headlamp using Energizer batteries I feel safe knowing that others can see me. And this powerful light's beam let's me see every crack and pothole in my path. Great Product.
