Best Kids Flashlight Out There! As the Mom of three young children who have each received many flashlights as gifts over the years, I have to say that the only one that has made it through the wars is this one. Every other flashlight has broken somewhat quickly and they also eat batteries. We have had this one for more than a year and I just changed the batteries for the first time (despite the fact that it frequently gets left on all night in someone's room). I have recommended it to many of my friends and relatives as gifts and everyone who has received it agrees that its tops. January 21, 2012

How do the batteries go in?

I took off the top and the batteries fell out so I can't figure out how to put new ones in facing the proper directions

Answer: 
Thank you for this great question, I would be happy to assist you. When you want to replace, take a look on the inside of the light, you will see a diagram of how to place them in. The first battery will go in negative side down; the next two will go in just the same. When you have all three batteries in, they should all be positive side up.
