Energizer Carabiner LED Area Light 5 5 2 2

Great for my dog walks at night!! I like to take my dogs to the park after work and with the days getting shorter and night coming on so quickly I needed a light that would help me see where I was going that was hands free. This item was perfect for that. I also like that the light can convert from an area light to an actual flashlight. Fantastic product and I'll be sure to let my other dog owning friends know about it! it switches off automatically after few seconds !!!

Is that something you know ?
Should I take it back to the retailer ?
Light only last few seconds ( 4 - 5 ) and you have to switch on again every 4 _ 5 seconds.
( the 3 modes )
Nothing said on the package; hence I assume that is not normal !!!

I had the same problem, If you take out the batteries, wait 10 seconds, then put them back in it fixes the problem.

Try taking out the batteries for 10 seconds per instructions. http://www.energizer.com/SiteCollectionDocuments/pdf/lighting/EDMCC42E_Instructions.pdf

I guess it is for the shop test mode to save batteries. Can't see anywhere on packaging to do this.
