We apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for reaching out to us… Unfortunately, if the lights are flashing red, the charger has ceased proper operation. This could be due to a number of reasons though:
Depending on how long you’ve had the batteries and how long/often you use them, the batteries may be to blame.
- Our batteries are sealed (Ni-MH) Nickel-Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries. To maintain their life expectancy, stored batteries that aren’t used very often should be charged periodically (every couple of months).
- The expected life of the batteries varies depending on use, and designed for between 300 – 500 charge cycles. If the batteries are less than 2 years old and have been used less than this number of cycles, we would be happy to send you some replacements.
