Very disappointed I am very disappointed with this charging system I have one battery that will not hold a charge if your batteries says PL-7623 take it back and get your money back if you can May 10, 2013
Battery packs DO NOT FIT in Wii remotes!!!! The battery packs are too long and DO NOT FIT in the Wii remotes that it was made for, and why I bought it. Also noticed the picture for this product shows a side-by-side charging base and mine is front to back, and yet they both have the same model number. My package also says it can be used for Wii U or Wii. Shouldn't that be a different model number then? Why don't the battery packs fit what they're made for? This product has the Energizer name on it. Quit telling peoople to contact PDP. Energizer should be calling PDP and getting these problems fixed!!! April 26, 2013
not worth it I had this charger for a while-tried several times to get it to charge batteries and no go! What a waste--just tried it again before writing this thinking I would give it one last shot and am still dissapointed. Would not recommend it at all. February 9, 2013
Plugging In I just got this charging unit and am very disappointed that no where on the box did it say it could only be plugged into the WII console to charge instead of plugging into the wall. Also very disappointed to learn (from having to open the product and read the directions) that in order for the batteries to charge, the WII console has to be turned on! Why would I want to turn my WII console on for an hour or so to charge my remotes when I can't even play until the remotes are charged? WASTE of electricity! February 8, 2013
not worth the money I have had this charger for a while now & it never charges the batteries. It is such a waste of money. Wish i could just get my money back. I have to always have batteries on hand which is why i was hoping this unit would work. January 27, 2013

Blinking red light AUSTRALIA

Hello,

I got a Power & Play® Charging System for Wii™ about 9 months ago, it seemed to work fine at first, however now the lights continuously flash red. After searching the energizer webpage i found that this means there may be a problem with the battery pack or charger. could you please advise me as i have only had it for 9 months and charged it about 20-30 times? is it possible to buy new battery packs?

Could you please advise me if there is a customer service contact in Australia.

Charging wii remotes

I have the remotes in the charger and it is blinking red, should it be solid red until it turns green letting me know they're charged or are the blinking red lights telling me this doesn't work and I have to return another one.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for reaching out to us… Unfortunately, if the lights are flashing red, the charger has ceased proper operation. This could be due to a number of reasons though:
Depending on how long you’ve had the batteries and how long/often you use them, the batteries may be to blame.
- Our batteries are sealed (Ni-MH) Nickel-Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries. To maintain their life expectancy, stored batteries that aren’t used very often should be charged periodically (every couple of months).
- The expected life of the batteries varies depending on use, and designed for between 300 – 500 charge cycles. If the batteries are less than 2 years old and have been used less than this number of cycles, we would be happy to send you some replacements. Simply contact the following to provide your name and address:

I just recently purchased a new battery pack for our Wii handset. When I place the battery in the remote & the remote on the charger, the light only blinks red. It does not appear to be charging. Can anyone help?

i have just bought a new charging station with the batteries, the batteries seem shorter and only have batterie conecters on the bottum. i charged them and they dont work.

Is not charging controller. When I plug in the charger a amber light flashes - when I unplug it a green light flashes. How can I test the charger, I'm getting 1.6 amp reading on controller batteries.

I replaced the charger, retested old charger with new batteries.
When you plug in your charger and it flashes (once) amber then it is time to buy a new charger - check your warrantee.

I have a Wii that is a few years old and the rechargable batteries don't last longer than an hour. I want to buy new rechargables but Batteries Plus doesn't have anything close and this web site doesn't show anything for it.
