Power & Play Wireless Charging System for Wii 2.8 5 31 31
almost a year old and still works well the batteries may not last as long as I'd like but still charging fine and works well for my family January 2, 2013
Good results and performance Great concept, easy touse, no problem with covers and rubber protection, Charge last 3 hours wich is plenty of time for a day. Freak product. December 30, 2012
Battery will not charge Lasted a short time, one battery will charge but does not hold the charge, other battery will not charge at all. December 28, 2012
Idea is good, but product life is not I have gone through two of these battery charging systems. Both of them had 1 battery pack that stopped working after a few months. I can only charge 1 battery and not both. I am going back to regular batteries as this product is not reliable. December 28, 2012
Faulty/Product life is disapointing I was really excited to be trying out this product for the first time but found one of the batteries wouldn't charge. After googling I read to switch the batteries between remotes and this solution worked for a few weeks but then the dreaded red flashing light appeared again. Unfortunately, the switching solution didn't work this time. The concept is great and while it worked it was excellent but the battery quality is disappointing. Can I buy replacement batteries anywhere in Sydney? December 28, 2012
Worked great for 3 months Worked great for 3 months. Convenient! Now, batteries will not hold charge. I would have expected at least a year or two before failing, but 3 months??? I want a refund! December 19, 2012
Could be so good! Awesome to have a platform to lay them down on, but these batteries are downright awful and totally kill the experience. Hoping I can find replacements (not Energizer ones) because the Energizer batteries are not worth anything at all. December 2, 2012
Worked great for a short time. We love the idea behind this product, the ease of use would be great if it were not for the same frustration that most everyone else seems to be having....it worked well for a short time but now we've got one battery pack that will not charge at all, even though the green light indicates that it's charged. We've tried every combination draining/recharging possibility that we can think of to no avail. This in itself is frustrating enough, but add to that the fact that NOBODY seems to carry replacement battery packs for this system. Great concept but serious failure in reliability and customer convenience. December 2, 2012

Answer:
I was getting that same issue with the blinking red lights whenever I charged my controllers. The reason why you get a red flashing signal is that you have a bad connection while charging. What you have to do is remove the battery pack from the controller and with a small flat screw driver bend back the positive metal prong on the battery pack (careful not to bend back too far). That should give it a good contact and will eliminate the flashing red light.

Answer:
Go to the manufacture's website to purchase additional batteries. The link I'm providing should take you directly to the webpage of the type of battery you'll need that's compatible with this particular charging system:

http://www.pdp.com/p-887-individual-600-mah-battery-pack-induction.aspx

Please remember that this INDUCTION charging system is NOT the same as the CONDUCTION charging system. Also, your battery may show a product number of PL-7581. The replacement battery on the website, listed as PL-7681 (white# or PL-7681B #black) will work and, in fact, are better batteries. Hope this helps. Took me awhile to find the right batteries too. :)

Thank you for your inquiry.
If the lights are flashing, with or without any controllers or batteries placed on the charger, this is an indication that the charger has ceased operation.
Depending on how long you've been using the same batteries and/or how long it's been since you've used the controller/charger batteries, it may be necessary to update the batteries.
Our batteries are sealed (Ni-MH) Nickel-Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries. To maintain their life expectancy stored batteries should be charged periodically (every couple of months).
The expected life of the batteries will vary depending on use, and designed for 300 – 500 charge cycles. If the batteries are less than 2 years old and have been used less than 500 cycles, please contact Performance Designed Products for replacements. All we need is your name and address.

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. It sounds as though you have the version where the battery is attached to the battery door, with this product, you must push the button to the top right of the Energizer logo with a pen (it is lower than battery door surface) to sync with the Wii console. I have attached an image for reference. If you continue to have issues, please contact PDP customer service at 1-800-331-3844, and reference the version number located on the bottom of the packaging (ie. PL-7581vX.X).
