Love the ease of the flat platform Sept 02 2012 I have had this product since Feb 2010, almost 2 1/2 years and has performed perfectly using almost everyday. Recently however the charge only seems to last a couple hours instead of the usual 10 hours. The difference in usage is several weeks of not using the remotes but leaving them on the charging pad ready for use. I would definitely purchase this unit again and hope to have as good a result as the first charging pad. September 2, 2012
It just keeps flahing red I have just had my first one replaced after 1 month because it kept flashing red. First one, then two, then all of them. ( i have the quad panel) I just got home with my replacement, I plugged it in and they all flash red after three seconds. I didn't pay $50 and take two trips to JB HIFI just to have to go and buy more batteries at the supermarket to keep the kids happy. Very Unimpressed :( August 23, 2012
Good, but could be improved Love that its so easy to use, and that it supposedly lets you know when the remotes are done charging. I've been having completely dead remotes turn green on the charger within 5-10 minutes, and they are dead again (not surprisingly) in the same amount of time. If a charged remote is not used and is left on the charger for, say a week, it cannot be used. If the same fully charged remote is left off the charger for the same amount of time, it still can't be used. The only difference between the two scenarios is that the one left off the charger can be put on the charger to remedy the problem, the other one has to be left off to die first. In this age of "smart" batteries that eliminates these problems, still having them is very discouraging. August 15, 2012
Good concept but..... When it worked we loved it. We got the big induction mat that charges 4 Wii controllers at one time. First one battery pack stopped charged then two. Now none of the 4 rechargeable batteries will recharge. I can't seem to locate anywhere to purchase the rechargeable batteries for the induction mat system. I guess we are back to regular AA batteries. Oh well. August 5, 2012
Reliability...again Like most people who have reviewed this product, I found that the unit stopped charging first one battery and then the other after several weeks to a month after purchase. I agree with another reviewer that an inductive charge mat is an excellent idea for ease of use and Energizer have provided at a reasonable price. But if the product isn't reliable then it's essentially a hunk of useless plastic. I'll be asking Energizer for a refund/replacement. August 1, 2012
Not so sure. i clicked on yes i would recommend this product but im not completely sure. So far i think its better than other wii charge docks because of its sleek design and ease. Except im on my third one. Every one has had a different issue within about a month or so of owning it. Tell me does walmart sell cheaper versions of this charger? Like if i bought it elswhere would it be better? Or do i just give up... I like it but tired of exchanging it. Energizer or pdp or whatever need to make them with consistant quality. Then i will recomend to everyone. June 13, 2012
good product but.. i bought this item to charge my daughter's Wii remotes and while it is a good product it did have some glitches. Most notably, it wouldn't charge one of the controllers for awhile. We first thought it was the battery but, for some reason all we had to do was push the buttons on the controllers and they were able to charge. Other than that it has really done a good job of charging. June 7, 2012
It works SO great, when the red light isn't flashing. We really like this charger compared with the old kind, that you had to remove the case to charge. The only thing about it is one battery started flashing red after only a few months of using it. After doing all the troubleshooting I could find with no results, I called Energizer. They are sending replacement batteries for no charge. Hope that works. May 31, 2012

Answer:
I was getting that same issue with the blinking red lights whenever I charged my controllers. The reason why you get a red flashing signal is that you have a bad connection while charging. What you have to do is remove the battery pack from the controller and with a small flat screw driver bend back the positive metal prong on the battery pack (careful not to bend back too far). That should give it a good contact and will eliminate the flashing red light.

Answer:
Go to the manufacture's website to purchase additional batteries. The link I'm providing should take you directly to the webpage of the type of battery you'll need that's compatible with this particular charging system:

http://www.pdp.com/p-887-individual-600-mah-battery-pack-induction.aspx

Please remember that this INDUCTION charging system is NOT the same as the CONDUCTION charging system. Also, your battery may show a product number of PL-7581. The replacement battery on the website, listed as PL-7681 (white# or PL-7681B #black) will work and, in fact, are better batteries. Hope this helps. Took me awhile to find the right batteries too. :)

Thank you for your inquiry.
If the lights are flashing, with or without any controllers or batteries placed on the charger, this is an indication that the charger has ceased operation.
Depending on how long you've been using the same batteries and/or how long it's been since you've used the controller/charger batteries, it may be necessary to update the batteries.
Our batteries are sealed (Ni-MH) Nickel-Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries. To maintain their life expectancy stored batteries should be charged periodically (every couple of months).
The expected life of the batteries will vary depending on use, and designed for 300 – 500 charge cycles. If the batteries are less than 2 years old and have been used less than 500 cycles, please contact Performance Designed Products for replacements. All we need is your name and address.

Thank you for your inquiry. It sounds as though you have the version where the battery is attached to the battery door, with this product, you must push the button to the top right of the Energizer logo with a pen (it is lower than battery door surface) to sync with the Wii console. I have attached an image for reference. If you continue to have issues, please contact PDP customer service at 1-800-331-3844, and reference the version number located on the bottom of the packaging (ie. PL-7581vX.X).
