If only it still worked we haven't had ths product too long, I can't tell you how long for sure but a little over a year. I guess I expected the batteries to last longer, but as of yesterday we have blinking yelow lights when we try to charge the remotes. We are not huge video gamers, and our wii controllers see action on a weekly basis, which to me means these batteries should of held up a little longer than they have. I think it would be mire beneficial for me to go back to using regular batteries and not rechargeables, because if I haave to keep replacing the rechargeables so often what's the point?!?!? Maybe it doesn't bother some people but it does bother me. I have read some of the reviews and poor battery life seems to be a common issue, while other people have good luck with it. May 12, 2013
Awesome product! Just purchased a used Wii w/recharger for controls. But tired of taking on/off silicone sleeve to charge. Saw this online and one of the best purchases ever! Now am taking other rechargers back, this is sooooo much easier!! April 12, 2013
Batteries die too fast I was excited when I purchased this product, no more buying batteries. My rechargeable batteries only lasted about 6 months. I'm happy Energizer fixed the problem by sending me more batteries to replace the ones that no longer worked. Kuddos and thank you for making me a happy customer :) April 10, 2013
Stability 2 years using this product and the battery life is slowly being shortend. We play until the battery dies, plug them recharge and play more. Good concept, Stable batteries. Although, It would be nice to just get replacement battery pack, rather than buy another full set with charger. February 16, 2013
must have for any gamer!!!!!! Found this product and it has helped my gaming tremendously. Giving me the power to not have to hook up to the charging cord while playing. A must have for any gamer. February 2, 2013
not what i expected only had about 6 months now it wont work and about the last month one side charged one side didnt im disappointed January 20, 2013
Less than a month and one battery is dead yep, I'm another victim of the faulty battery. Less than a month (this is my SECOND unit) and the same as before, one bad battery that won't charge, unfortunately I can't return this to the store I bought it from since I waited past 30 days from the return of the original. (this one had only been plugged in for 2 weeks) January 16, 2013
Easy as Same with everyone else, one battery will charge the other wont charge at all, and yes did not last that long only a few months before i started having issues. And please if myou want to refer me to PDP please give me an email address as i wont ring america. Thank you January 6, 2013

Answer:
I was getting that same issue with the blinking red lights whenever I charged my controllers. The reason why you get a red flashing signal is that you have a bad connection while charging. What you have to do is remove the battery pack from the controller and with a small flat screw driver bend back the positive metal prong on the battery pack (careful not to bend back too far). That should give it a good contact and will eliminate the flashing red light.

Answer:
Go to the manufacture's website to purchase additional batteries. The link I'm providing should take you directly to the webpage of the type of battery you'll need that's compatible with this particular charging system:

http://www.pdp.com/p-887-individual-600-mah-battery-pack-induction.aspx

Please remember that this INDUCTION charging system is NOT the same as the CONDUCTION charging system. Also, your battery may show a product number of PL-7581. The replacement battery on the website, listed as PL-7681 (white# or PL-7681B #black) will work and, in fact, are better batteries. Hope this helps. Took me awhile to find the right batteries too. :)

Thank you for your inquiry.
If the lights are flashing, with or without any controllers or batteries placed on the charger, this is an indication that the charger has ceased operation.
Depending on how long you've been using the same batteries and/or how long it's been since you've used the controller/charger batteries, it may be necessary to update the batteries.
Our batteries are sealed (Ni-MH) Nickel-Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries. To maintain their life expectancy stored batteries should be charged periodically (every couple of months).
The expected life of the batteries will vary depending on use, and designed for 300 – 500 charge cycles. If the batteries are less than 2 years old and have been used less than 500 cycles, please contact Performance Designed Products for replacements. All we need is your name and address.

Answer:
Thank you for your inquiry. It sounds as though you have the version where the battery is attached to the battery door, with this product, you must push the button to the top right of the Energizer logo with a pen (it is lower than battery door surface) to sync with the Wii console. I have attached an image for reference. If you continue to have issues, please contact PDP customer service at 1-800-331-3844, and reference the version number located on the bottom of the packaging (ie. PL-7581vX.X).
