How does Light on Demand™ work?

At the heart of each Light on Demand™ product is a removable LED light stick, which is equipped with internal, rechargeable batteries. The lights can function in their specific product, but are also detachable and can serve as an area light and/or flashlight when the power goes out, providing continual, emergency lighting.
